Faculty Profile

Robert Vinjolli holds a B.S. in Software Engineering from North American University in Houston and an M.S. in Cybersecurity Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He brings over eight years of hands-on experience in IT and cybersecurity, working across a wide range of environments from small businesses to large, enterprise-scale organizations.

He is an official partner of Microsoft and CrowdStrike and holds multiple industry certifications in threat detection, endpoint protection, and cloud security. His expertise spans modern security operations, endpoint and identity security, and cloud-based defense strategies.

In 2020, Robert founded CypherEra, a Quincy, Massachusetts based cybersecurity company focused on helping organizations proactively secure their systems against evolving and sophisticated threats.

Having been involved in hiring and evaluating cybersecurity professionals, Robert understands how saturated and competitive the job market has become. He has been on both sides of the hiring table and knows how to identify real-world, practical experience.

Andi's multidisciplinary expertise is anchored in a PhD in Quantitative Economics, where his research pioneered the application of Artificial Intelligence within macroeconomics and forecasting. With a foundational background in Physics, he approaches data architecture from first principles, allowing him to navigate the complex mathematical mechanics that underpin modern AI. As a published researcher, his work in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and deep learning — specifically involving BERT-based architectures — places him at the vanguard of the Generative and Agentic AI revolution.

Francesko Hela, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School. As a researcher at the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center, Francesko is dedicated to pioneering the next generation of diabetes care. By exploring how aging and cellular senescence impact beta-cell function, his work seeks to unlock new pathways for rejuvenation in Type 2 Diabetes treatment and uncover the complexities of Type 1 Diabetes immunobiology.

Francesko transitioned to the Joslin Center in 2022 following a successful doctoral career at Koç University, where he published extensively on reproductive endocrinology and steroid synthesis. Yas holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, where his research focused on RAG-augmented LLMs, continual learning, and multi-agent collaboration. He brings over nine years of experience across industry and academic settings, building and deploying AI and data science solutions in pharmaceutical commercial data science and finance.

Yas is currently an Associate Director, Global AI & Advanced Analytics at BioNTech, where he leads the development and deployment of AI products and advanced analytics in support of global business and scientific priorities. Previously, he served as an AI Researcher at Johnson & Johnson, where he built multi-agent generative AI systems for hypothesis generation in biomedical research.

His expertise spans generative AI (LLMs, chatbots, reinforcement learning) and predictive modeling (anomaly detection, forecasting, and marketing analytics). Having led high-impact AI and data science projects end-to-end, Yas knows how to translate advanced methods into practical, scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
